Here’s what changed this week in AI tools: pricing shifts, new features, and platform updates worth knowing about if you use AI in your marketing or content workflow.
OpenAI: New ChatGPT for Small Businesses program
OpenAI launched a program on July 21 to help small business owners put ChatGPT Work to use, with free virtual webinars, in-person OpenAI Academy events, and partner integrations from Shopify and Intuit, all running on the new GPT-5.6 model. If you run a lean team, the training tracks cover practical workflows like accounting, marketing, and eCommerce, so it is worth a look before you build your own AI processes from scratch.

Meta: Brand Memory creative suite for advertisers
Meta rolled out an AI creative suite built around Brand Memory, which learns from your past ad campaigns so new creative stays aligned with your tone, messaging, and visual identity. It also added AI video voiceovers in 11 languages and text-on-media translation in five, which matters if you run ads across multiple markets and want to skip separate production for each one.

Meta: New Creator Marketing Hub for partnerships
Meta merged Creator Marketplace and Partnership Ads into a single Creator Marketing Hub, and relaunched Facebook Creator Studio with AI tools for idea generation and content management. If you manage influencer or creator partnerships, this consolidates discovery, briefing, and paid amplification into one place instead of jumping between tools.

Meta: Automatic AI labels on ads
Meta will now automatically label Facebook and Instagram ads that were created or significantly edited with generative AI, and it can detect metadata from outside tools like Photoshop and DALL-E using the C2PA standard. If you use AI to produce ad creative, plan for these disclosures to appear on your promotions whether you add them yourself or not.

HeyGen: Look Packs and Speech Cleanup go live
HeyGen added Look Packs, which turns a single face upload into a full set of polished avatar images, plus Speech Cleanup, which strips out the parts of a recording you would normally edit and stitches the rest into one clean take. If you produce avatar videos at volume, both features cut time out of the setup and editing steps.

ElevenLabs: Cleaner transcripts and a model deprecation
The ElevenLabs Scribe realtime transcription now accepts a keyterms parameter and a no_verbatim option that removes filler words, false starts, and disfluencies automatically. Note that the older eleven_monolingual_v1 and eleven_multilingual_v1 models were retired on July 9, so if you rely on ElevenLabs for voiceovers, check that your setup points to a current model.

Runway: Unlimited plan replaced with credit-based Max
Runway stopped selling its $95 Unlimited plan to new subscribers and replaced it with Max, which keeps the $95 per month price but is purely credit-based at 9,500 credits per month with one month of rollover. Existing Unlimited subscribers migrate on September 1, so if you use Runway for video, map your monthly render volume against the new credit cap before then.
